Decoding neural circuits encoding global animal states
Thursday 4 February @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (Sherrington Library)
Dr Mario de Bono from the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge will be speaking at the first of our seminars for 2016 on decoding neural circuits that encode global animal states. His research group studies the neural circuits in C. elegans with a particular focus on neuropeptides and the integration of responses to sensory stimuli, having recently published results decoding a neural circuit that reprograms the global state of C. elegans due to increased oxygen levels.
