Sleep and cortical plasticity: living the dream
Tuesday 13 September @ 4 pm5:30 pm (Sherrington Library)

Marcos Frank from Washington State University will discuss his research at the Cortex Club on Tuesday 13 September. He is interested in the regulation and function of sleep in developing and adult animals, particularly in relation to brain plasticity and the role of glia. His research group is working towards determining the role of sleep in the development of central visual pathways as well as the role of glia in the accumulation and discharge of sleep pressure and synaptic plasticity.
